Nissan says to inflate the tires to 29 psi, yet my balloon tire has a maximum psi of 44. How much air should I put in? I put in 40psi, and there are still sizable bulges under the front wheels. I am also hesitant about how much I should put in my rear tire which has a partially slashed sidewall. Help would be appreciated greatly.

BTW, I am big pimpin on the stock 15" rims.

Always inflate the tires to the manufacturer's specs.

If your tires aren't in very good shape I'd definitely get them, or at least the ones that are bad, replaced asap. Definitely don't want one of those going out while driving.
