Tints for my '09 Coupe (LI, NY)

Okay, so I have a few questions.

1) Is it okay to tint a leased car? A - Windows / Tail Lights / Headlights2) If so, does anyone know a good place that tints, and for a good price, on Long Island? A - now ...I'm looking to go 5% around, considering my car's black

dealerships don't mind about tinting windows because it can be removed. I use a place in bohemia for my tinting. I had my windows tinted and headlights tinted there. Guy is a great guy and owns the shop. place is called underground, u can find them on the internet. He did my windows for $170 and gives a lifetime warranty. LBC sells tints too that are highly recommended by everyone on here.

and just so u know 5% is a limo tint and will get you problems with cops here on LI. I have 35% in the front and 15% in the back and have already been pulled over once for tinted windows. Ny state law i believe is 70% now which was changed from 35% a couple of years back. Im pretty sure and if i'm wrong i'm sure another new yorker will chime in.

On a black car its easier to get away with, but I wouldnt go 5% all the way around... I have 15% on the front 2, and 5% around the back...

Ive gotten one ticket for it but its easy enough to get them thrown out in NY (i can discuss this in person ONLY).

I dont sell window tint though , only headlight/taillight overlays!

Do you sell those?-Also, LBC ...what was the place you had in mind for the tints, cheaper sounds nicer :-)-And how does the 15 / 5 look on your car?

Farmingdale to valleystream isnt a haul lol!

I dont sell the eyelids on my car, they are fiberglass and must be painted, they cost $45 and will run another $50 or so to paint. Search for "altima eyelid" on ebay and the seller uses a pic of my car in his auctions.

The tinter I use and reccomend is "Tony" and he works out of his house in Westbury... his number is 516-216-2026 and is by appt only. Make sure you tell him what shade you want to he can make sure he has it in stock, and mention that you know me "brian, the altima coupe guy whose friends with Mustang Joe"

Yep, his car is pretty slick looking although its dirty as hell right now lol. Im at the mall all the time so youll probably see my ride parked by the food court
