Ok - I'll try to make sense of this ramble.
ECU Code 35 is the O2 Sensor circuit. It may be a bad O2 sensor and here is where it ties in to your fuel injector issues:
If both sides are running fine at idle, and then when you give it power, one sides richens up a lot, and the other side only richens up a little bit, it is probably because the O2 sensor is telling it to do so. 1 sensor is reading way too much or way too little fuel...when you add power, the ecu is compensating by wither leaning out or richening up the side that is being affected. Do the O2 sensor diagnostic test on the ECU.
Let me get this next part straight: you have a NA car with a TT ECU? I THINK that will work if there are no tranmission conflicts (auto trans ECUs can work with manual transmissions but not the other way around). I THINK it is the same for TT vs. NA - TT ECU will work on NA but not the other way around.
That said, do the research to see if that is true or not. That may be the problem.
Heating issues: If your car runs at it;s normal operating temperature when the heater is on, but it overheats when the heater is not on, you definitely should start searching for the cause. It runs cooler with the heater on because you allow the coolant more room and time to cool nbefore being heated by the engine again. Check your coolant level. If it is fine, I'd check the water pump and thermostat. Also, the radiators are pretty easy to remove on these cars, and replacements are cheap. If all else fails, replace the radiator. You can buy them on eBay all day long for $30 plus shipping.
