I don't know about Tiger, but I used JDMEngineDepot.com and am coming up o n a year and 9400 miles without a single problem. My redtop was $1580 shipped (ebay). I have seen a few post on here about them, and people's complaints, but based on my first purchase, I'd definitely buy again. Regardless of who you go with, don't be like me and wait until you get the engine in the car to realize you have no oil pressure- MUST prime oil pump before install!!

That's all I can offer. and Good Luck

I bought a Mitsubishi 4G63 from them for a 1100 shipped, the motors been running strong for over a year now. I replaced all the gaskets before the install and seafoamed the engine after.

Two of my friends bought red top SR's from there, and both were garbage. Internally rusted to s***. Miserable compression. They were rad paperweights. That's about it.

im pretty legit, dragon motorsports is a legit company ive been a member here forever, many people here know of me and have bought from me, im not as popular on here because im not a forum sponsor. I am a sponsor of 240sxone.com and i had sent you a link to one of my recent customers build thread (he purchased the engine from me)

They have not had an SR20 in a very long time to my knowledge but when they do have them i have heard nothing but good things from this company. I know a garage that has ordered and picked up many (only 2 or 3 but still) engines from them, no problems. I believe in one case they sent a bad engine and all the garage ended up doing was calling and telling them what was up and they sent another one down(another trans, engine, ecu and all), Did not even have to return the bad one or any of its parts. Just paid shipping.

http://www.pandagarage.com is also a good company, again "When" they have SR20's in stock.

Good Luck Bro.

I bought a SR20 from tiger japanese awhile back along with a rb25. They sent me a rb20 trans with the 25. Neither motors came with mafs, or ignitor chips. The SR ended up having a bad trans and turbo. They exchanged everything at their expense after a month of me b****ing over the phone. I got a rb25 trans and a good SR trans. They said none of their motors come with mafs or ignitors which sounded like BS to me.

JHOT, I got a perfect s14 SR. Really you will hate life with any one else. I also only payed 2025 shipped for my perfect engine, transmission, super mint wiring harness, ecu, fuel pump assembly, drive shaft, and stock intercooler set-up. I got my swap done in 3 days due to the lack of problems. Do your self a favor use JHOT. JHOT is also US based. I got my SR last year by the way.

JHOT gets SR20s ALLLL the time. It's just the fact that they're such a popular company, usually all the engines on the incoming crate already have deposits put down on them, so there's very few engines ever just sitting around for the public to buy.

When I was shopping around for SR20det's Tiger caught my eye real fast, because they sell cheap, and as a 240sx owner, I am damn cheap. A simple google search for reviews on them will review plenty horror stories of engines shipped cracked, destroyed, missing critical components, and with switched non-pairable transmission's. After some research, I found the best places to go would be Enjuku, Jspec, or BestofJDM. Good luck with your search.
