I was wondering what your guys opinions are for which would be a better road course/auto-X car. N/A or Turbo?? What advantages and disadvantages do you guys see in both?

NA you have power and for the most part its the same... With boost you can add a little to get a little more power, ExampleYou run the course at .7 kilo of boost one week and do well but the next week their are some faster cars, you up the boost and still can hang, How can you do that with an NA? As long as your engine and fuel is their for the boost you are fine

Having a smaller turbo, something which would spool up quickly and give you a little extra bite definetly seems more appealing than going na. I would imagine an s13 sr20det swap with the stock t-25 would be great for your purposes.

well here's the thing, your going to be able to make a lot more power with a turbo then you would with the same car in N/A form, theoretically, if you could have a 240 make the same power NA as it could Turbo'd, NA would be better. Its more predictable and the power curve would be much more smooth then with a turbo, you would defiantly have more control of the car around a little auto-x course, where most of the time your in you lower RPM’s, boost kicking in with a big serge of power in a tight track isn’t a good thing.

I’ve never seen this myself, but I’ve been told from a few friends that when they watched a few KA-T’s auto-x again some the close to stock KA’s they barely pulled better times.

Thats what I was thinking sims, through tight turns I would not be able to use the full potential of the turbo. Plus what YamaOni was saying boosting it up when faster cars are around, I was thinking thats when I should boost my skill. I see it as Driver then suspension then power. I was curious to see what other thought.
