TheNissanPath Registration Problems

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is someone authorizing new members to TheNissanPath forum?

There is more discussion and content there relevant to what I am doing, and trying to do, and my registration requests haven't been accepted, rejected, or otherwise processed besides the automated process that confirms receipt of the request.

The request is for the same username I use here.

If it's been awhile, the administrators of the site may be preoccupied. You can send a private message through your user control panel to either PalmerWMD or AZhitman on this site and see if you can get onboarded to TheNissanPath. Both of these gentlemen are administrators on that forum. When I just registered I got the following message so I know by reading this that it's not an automatic process. You should also receive an email with the same message as I just now received. If you have not received an email, you may have entered yours incorrectly. I used the same user name and password as well.

Why do you need onboarding to NissanPath? It was my understanding that all "Path" access was now handled by NicoClub as a subsite, so if you're a NicoClub member, you should be able to participate in "Path" threads. Is that not the case?

No they are sadly still separated.
TNP is still active as a seperate site 1.5 years after the merger.

All others:

I am one of the Admins on Thenissanpath and apologize for this issue.
We actually (or at least I dont) get emails on users trying to join.
I do not know where the problem lies.

We do have registration issues as the spam software is set very strong, since we used to have huge spam issues and it often considers registrations as suspicious and puts them on hold.
What I have been doing for the past year is going in manually every other day or so and looking at them and then setting registration attempts that do not like "spammy" as active.

I had looked in the past and did not find it but this thread inspired me to look again.
I did not realize we were set to manual registration only and had understood that only folks who were caught by spam filter needed manual help.

I just found and reset the toggle to to reset user activation via email and also set u as active.

I am also hopeful we can merge the sites.
The longer they stay apart the more work it will be to merge them.
