The visor is too short!

Now that the sun is starting to come out I'm finding that the visor is totally inadequate. Waaaaaaay too short. if I contort myself I can avoid being blinded by the sun, but if there is a replacement or an extension that works I'd rather have that.

Does Nissan make one, or is there somewhere I can find one that won't be hideous (something that will match my tan interior)?

I agree, if anyone knows where to get one I'm for it.

Even though I hated my '98 S-10...that was the one good "engineering" thought put into it. My visor would be normal size near the windshield..but if I moved it to the side window it had a little slid out portion to make up the distance.

Yes...I'm disappointed there isn't a slide-out extender. I think most automobiles have that anymore.

Here's a clip-on visor extension:

The same thing is actually cheaper through amazon.com

Not only is it too short, its too wide. When I flip it down it covers half the windshield leaving only the lower half to see thru. Good luck seeing traffic lights.

Oooh - that's nice.

I should have been more clear - I meant it's too short long-ways. I need it to extend farther when I have it flipped to the side so it covers the length of the driver's side window.

In that case, try this one for $8 US. It isn't a match for your interior but functionally it should be exactly what you're looking for.

I hope this helps you.

My biggest issue is that the visor is too thick. Things that use visor clips usually won't work on the V.

I really dont have a problem with it, you guys should see the visor in the VW R32... that think is narrow and short... its half the size of a notebook lol

This is true. My garage door opener doesn't fit on it.

Simple solution, Red: put it up before you get out of the car

Don't know how they could have lenghtened it with the rvmirror in the way (right in the middle -- what were they thinking?), but if you have the seat back then the sun can easily hit you when it shines from the side.
