I have a question about your Ultra Racing Fender braces beause I'm gonna order them from ebay. Just wondering if you needed to weld them on? Do the holes not line up properly on the vert or something?
well on a normal 240 you do not need to weld it on but i stack mine on top of the factory fender brace which left a gap. I just went to the muffler shop and had them stick in a metal plate to fill in the gap and had it welded. When i came home and tried to put the fenders back on there was no room. So now my fender braces left a 2 dimples in my stock fenders. If i where to do it over again i would invest that money in some other type of suspension mod. The factory braces are really beefy already.

I've been looking into get a nice, beefy set of sway bars, preferably adjustable and Largus caught my eye.

It would be nice to get some feedback from a fellow vert owner.
I like the largus sway bars. I got really lucky when i found these in a junk yard. They had no idea what they had or what it was worth. I got them for dirt cheap! Installation was fine and did not run into any issues. the only thing is if you have a greddy oil pan (for sr20det) these bars will not fit. Let me know if you have anymore questions!

Hmm, maybe I'll just have to skip the fender braces and just get the 4 point underbrace. Do you guyes think the front would be stiffer if I cut out the stock braces and installed the ultra racing ones or no? I don't really wanna damage my fenders by using both.

I think you'll be okay with the stock fender braces. By the time i figure it out it was too late for me.

What do you guys think of these fender braces?

From the picture it looks like they'll clear the stock brace. Has anybody used this style brace before? Tanabe's fender braces are the same design.

Yah i tried those too. The way they work is the slip through the inner fender rail through a huge hole which the vert does not have due to the added plates for reenforcement. I would just keep it stock. Use that money for other mods. Now i have a dimple in my fender and an extra set of fender braces haha. But i just pick up another s13 shell so that will go on it i guess.

See that hole in the fender rail of a regular coupe or hatch, the verts have that spot welded shut. You need that hole to use the tanabe style fender braces.
