No. The engine came turboed but the turbine seal started leaking because of improper positioning of the oil drain. It was up instead of down and the extra oil in the system pushed it out. Its damaged and is almost the same to repair as to purchase a new one. Spent 800 for the engine, 350 for the radiator set up (both rad and fans), 300 for the turbo and 295 for the waste gate, 85 for the AC blower condenser and ducting - the compressor in worthless, so I gotta find one and I still need to get the intercooler 200 bucks.
Patience, I got patience. :yesnod

Well it's at the electrician. He had a lot of cars ahead of me so I gotta wait for him to call. In the mean time I'm continuing with the fabrication of the brackets for the door mirror. As you all saw they're not set on the door post but are connected to the door skin. I still have to collect the new dash but the cash is running low. When there is more info I'll post. :dblthumb:

:wtf2: Still no response from the electrician and I'm fedup. I'm going to start afresh with a new power plant. Will fit a L28 and blow down :naughty: . When I get the hardware I'll start posting again. My local area network is down also so it won't be regular feedback  . Hope to have good news soon :dblthumb: .

:wtf2: I have not been able to source a reliable L28 as yet. It looks like I would have to buy one and rebuild it. But you all will see it as it happens. :yesnod

:wtf2: Well the electrician has not touched the truck as yet. There are some problems with the owner of the garage and the technician. Its a father and son. Big argument when I went to check the progress. Told me to come back on Wednesday. More info soon. :ohno:

WOW! Sounds like a long, drawn out process, but it's cool! It will all be worth it in the end.

That makes it about 6 months!!!!! Yikes!! I'd have been furious!!!

Once I had to steal my car back from a body shop because they refused to do work they promised to do and were holding my car hostage.

Maybe you can find a better place to get things done.
