Thank you :)

There's a good three inches of height adjustment, front and rear but, there is no adjustment for damping or camber.

I felt your pain of doing the whole suspension swap alone in a driveway.
It wasn't too bad, but I'm definitely happy that my insane wheel gap is taken care of.

Removed the roof wing, installed a more comfortable shift knob, and tried out some products from the chemical guys on all of my CF.

Can start of with saying that Im from Sweden, lives in Sweden too :) Had to give it a go, bought it 2 months ago and hadnt really pushed it, to bad my dear and shouting friend didnt get the first part of the session but theres more to come, bought a VH45DE that should arrive in a month or so, most ppl around here goes the turbo route but none has yet V8'd it so i thought i might aswell, also the VH45 seems to be a great base if you'ld want some FI.. Plans for first set-up (IF i get it running that is ;) ) will be more or less stock, chipped box, and maybe a Cayenne intake, not much more. Probably will be forced to get a new tranny since i got the early, weak one in mine.
Has got a row of JDM cars behind me, 2 R33 Skylines (one gtst with a RB3026DETT, one GTR more or less stock), RX7, LEXUS IS250, Aristo 2JZ-GTE and used to build engines for a living, discovered though that it took more time then i wanted so that i couldnt build/upgrade my own engines, hell i didnt even have time to sleep :naughty:

Anyways, last weekend while the other were testing out a friends bike;

Look at that thing - that's tall! Looks like you should be driving some hot rod in American Graffiti!

How's their quality? Since it's highly unlikely that I ever lay my grubby paws on a Hebi Bebi from Tommy Kaira I've been considering a similarly metal machined knob from TWM. Might even go opposite it direction and go with a short shift.

The Quality is amaaazing, simple design with a real nice weight to it (275 grams. 3/5th of a lb.)

$$ While the knobs aren't as expensive as the TK hebbi, they also aren't as cheap as say..a nismo knob.

I still don't know why I bought the extender, it feels like I'm rowing a semi now..AND I LIKE IT.
It shifts nice without the extender too, it brings out the crispness of shifting. Reminds me of that first Dorito you bite into just after opening the bag.

-neat thing about the twm spooky knob is that it is height ajustable, it comes with a extended adapter that can give the customer the option to have it sit atop the stem nice and flush, or have it bore through the center for a lower position.

-Its also unbiased to climate, no more grabbing the shiftknob with a towel because it feels like a skillet in the summertime.

I'll tell you what I did to my 350Z this weekend, and that was to have someone reverse into my rear end breaking my N/S rear light, putting a dent into my rear quarter panel and scratching my bumper. I'm absolutely bloody furious as no note was left on my windscreen nothing. So I'm now going to be out of pocket as its not worth claiming on my insurance as my excess will be more than the repair, although I'll find that out when I visit my mate who runs a bodyshop.

Nothing particularly thrilling - unless you live in California like me and can get fined for using too much water.... Finally washed, polished and waxed my Z33, But in the process, accidentally-on-purpose discovered a tip some might find handy.

Couple years ago, I bought one of those headlight restoration kits and spent the time polishing the yellowing/stained lenses. Did an OK job. But, now, they got pretty funky again. So while I was polishing the car, I went ahead and used the same polisher and polish I was using on the body directly on the lenses figuring if I mucked 'em up more, it was going to be time for replacement anyhow.

After I finished the rest of the car, as I was about to buff it out, I wiped the lenses first. Much to my surprise....

Dayam, stuff worked better than the restoration "kit"!! So, save yourself a few bucks this way. But, depending on the polish you're using (mine was a Meguiars liquid polish), test it first, I can't guarantee the results other than my own.

Old thread, BUT just had to post. Purchased my first 350 this weekend. Spent the rest of the time cruising around/sitting in it/drooling over it. I'm in love? :dblthumb:

Last weekend got some akebonos installed and now I'm running a front BBK on my 350z. ImageImage
Gotta bed in the akebono pads however. Feels like my brakes are ice skating.

I recently got my oem headlights bulbs replaced with 6K D2 Bulbs from http://allxenon.com/
and Im really happy with the outcome, the oem ones have a hint of yellow to them that I really wasn't liking but with the 6K bulbs I feel they have a much cleaner newer look to them. Glad I did it

Pics coming soon
