drifting autos isn't that hard at all...I don't know where you hear these rumors... maybe drifting auto 240s is... but autos in general... not so much.

First, sorry for your accident. The major thing that is that the people involved are ok.

Second, we all learn hard lessons through life. I know that being older, it is easy for me pass judgment and act condescending. But I won't. I have learned tough life lessons, because I could not learn them from others.

Third, bragging about your crash by setting up two threads about it, just fails.

You're preaching to the choir, man. I haz teh VG30E in mah S12.

I was more referring to nala drifting an auto more than it is impossible, but I'm sorry? Will you ever forgive me?

I tried this a few times in an empty parking lot with no poles or anything. No, it wasn't ever an auto 240, but I also can't say I used the same car twice. It wasn't obvious how to make a proper drift execution since the damn trans kept trying to downshift on me... that's probably why it happened to him in retrospect.

I knew this day was coming sometime. Didn't think it would be while drifting in a parking lot and hitting a Liberty. Have fun with that rise in insurance kid.

Who would imagine that nala would try and drift in his highschool parking lot to show off and end up crashing?

Again, realize you don't know **** about cars nala. You crash because you refuse to realize you don't know what your doing.

At least the J30 is in a better place, and doesn't have to suffer with you gluing dumb **** to it any more.

Dang Nala... I kind of thought that you were taking the GOOD advice that some people here were pushing your way. You open yourself up here (alot) for criticism, but you seem to take it pretty well... then this.

I guess that you were showing off - never a good idea - and now you are going to pay for it. I feel real sorry for the Liberty owner whose car you hashed.

I think you need to relax and take a fresh look at yourself and where you want to be in 2, 5 and 10 years. Stop trying to be something or someone you're not. Get comfortable in your own skin.

Look on the bright side, now you can ask your Dad for that 350Z you've also wanted. Or better yet, make it a 370Z.

~sighs~ I wish I had rich parents, better yet, I wish I was rich.

Oh yeah, I can definitely see that. Nala's dad: "Nala, I know you drove like an irresponsible moron and wrecked not only your old sedan but someone's car as well. My insurance rates are going to double because your showing off, but hey, let me reward you by giving you a $35,000 sports car..."

I've seen it all too many times. I've had friends who's Parents make $300K+ a year, and when they'd crash their new BMW's or Benz's, within a few days they would have another BMW or Mercedes.

I had a friend who's Dad bought him an 05 BMW M3, within a year of having it he crashed into a tree. Nothing happened to him, but the car was totaled. He now drives an 08 BMW 335i, and guess who paid for it.

Rich people are different from you and I.

rough dude, I had a feeling that this thread would come up sometime. You already know you drove like a ree-tee so I wont come down on you for that.

No matter how much crap people here give you, we have all made stupid choices at some point in our lives. As long as you, your passengers, and everyone involved can go home in one piece at the end of the night and you can reflect on the lessons learned from your life experience than you will be just fine.

Best of luck getting your situation figured out. Live and learn.

*Side note*

I know someone who may want to buy the J30 if there's no frame damage.

Well im not gonna bust your ball's either. We all mess up from time to time whether its on purpose (like showing off) or by accident.

I bet you were scared ****less when it happened.

Just be more responsible next time, THINK BEFORE YOU ACT and youll be okay.Main thing is that nobody got hurt and you didn't kill somebody.

Thats one thing i can say.I didnt really start driving until i was 17/18 yrs old.I wanted to and i had a car but it was broke(and still is lol) but i think it helped me grown havening to wait until later, and even now i dont drive much.

$500 saturn:

I was getting itchy without seeing any pics of a screwed up car, so here you go. You're welcome everyone.

Oddly enough, when I did a search for "Busted J30"... a pic of Foster's ambulance escapades showed up.

Does it look like that?
