Own an Infiniti 2008 M35x, no performance mods but gave my baby a little cosmetic upgrade.
I live in Brooklyn, 25 years old (I know I look younger than I seem). This is my first car that I pay for, and I love it!

Hi

Just got a bone stock 07 M35X. Been a lurker on these forums for a few weeks while car shopping and you guys are the reason i made my decision of getting an M35 instead of a 5 series or E-Class. I've had the car for a little under 2 weeks. Here's my progress

What's go people... I'm new to the M family as of this past weekend. 2006 M45 Sport fully loaded with the only 2 options missing is the rear window shade and reclining rear seats. So far I'm loving it other than the minor issue I'm noticing that the GPS seems to not know where the h_ll I am most of the time. LoL.

Thanks man... Maybe I will make some mods once I take care of some maintenance things. Looks like the speed sensor may be bad. The GPS tracks my turning radius but the arrow doesn't actually move directional wise. So I had read on one of the other threads how to put the car in diagnostic mode so I did that while driving the car and the Speed Sensor shows as "Off". So I'm assuming that is the problem, however my speed odometer works fine. And of course Infiniti wants you to pay $120 just to have a conversation with them where they don't act like they don't know anything.

Hi all!

Just learned about this whole group a few days ago! It's really cool to see this kind of community! I'm originally from Jersey, but live in Northern Cali now! After 8+ years of trying, I was very fortunate enough to buy my 1st Infiniti M car about 10 months ago! I'd LOVE to find others around CA and do some Infiniti Road Trips (gas prices are actually falling here, FOR NOW, so I need to take advantage) with other folks around here. I look forward to meeting some awesome members here! Cheers!

Here's my car (assuming I posted this correctly):

So I am new here too, and off to a BAD start with my new-to-me 2006 M35X:

Image

Drove it home two evenings ago, and on the way home from work yesterday it sputtered, stalled, and wouldn't run again, as if it was only getting fumes. I had AAA retrieve it and take it the hour's drive back to the car lot, and await their call. Pretty sure it's fuel filter or pump. While they have it they'll check the non-loading/ejecting CD player, and probably order a new one.

I really like the car, think is is beautiful, comfortable, and sexy, and hope this is not the beginning of a love/hate relationship!

Newb here. Just picked up a 06 M35x blk on blk. 81k miles and loaded.
No pics but it's just a stock looking car. Needed a daily driver for the winter this yr and have been searching for a sedan. This fit the bill.

Wife had an fx35 a few hrs ago and we loved the engine and the reliability of these cars so I was very confident in the brand. And it's just an elegant looking car, inside and out.

I come from a lot of vehicles. In the past 3 yrs, I have had 3 Porsche 911 turbos, 3 c6 z06 vettes, 3 Vipers, a couple AMG benzs, many bmw's, a Maserati GrandSport, Shelby mustangs and a slew of other trucks and diesels. Not to mention motorcycles... Suzuki's yamaha, Hondas, Harley's and Ducati's... Honestly I have not a clue as to how many toys I have had. Everything I buy, gets modded, you could say I'm a certified car but. So I look forward to modding this M35X and I'm hoping this forum will be a huge help!

Hello everyone. New to both the forum and to the Infiniti brand. Been into Motorsports for a long time though. Grew up racing many things and have built my fair share engines. First import I've owned though and looking forward to learning more.

A little info:
Names Tyler and I'm from Michigan.
Just picked up a 2008 Infiniti M45 Sport.

Helped my dad order an M35X in 2005 ...and well...he bought a new car...and I bought his old one...so from the land of European cars...i'm into a Japanese one now/again.

Technology Package w/XM
Navigation
Rear Spoiler
Full Size Spare

I"m surfin the historic posts like crazy to learn....got a few projects on my list:

1 - Replace Belts, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Fluids etc.. - no worries
2 - Suspension - here's the one I'm looking to learn - Looking for set of springs/shocks or coilovers that are very streetable, but will drop this AWD version about 1--1.5in - Suggestions? - Also, easy way to add camber in front.
3 - Wheels - I'm stuck on wanting to do 18's - What wheel in a 9 to 10in wide will fit/fill out whee well..i.e. offset etc..?
4 - Sunroof - who knows what's going on..i have to push the switch about 10 times to open or close..it moves the roof in like 2 inch increments...i'm wondering if switch is bad..or some programming...hmmm..

Thanks in advance!!

OOps...don't have a pic yet...brb

reply: if your are trying to fill wheel well with 18's probably wont happen unless you are trying to go with a flush look i would go bigger with 20's depending on what look you want depends on what offset wheels you want i would go with some concave wheels looks pretty GOOD maybe 20*10.5 with a +35

In October I said hello and now, it's goodbye! Traded the '06 M35X for an '11 328i x. One thing after another went wrong with the M and I just couldn't take it any more. I know these cars are supposed to be reliable, but, well, mine just wasn't. See you!

My 2003 m45. I have always loved these cars but could never find the right one. I owned this car for 2 months. It has 103,000 miles. I bought from a 62 year old man that bought it with 22000 miles. Very well maintained with all documents. I repainted the wheels with Nissan K11 base/Clear. The side moldings are wrapped in 3M Brushed Steel vinyl I am debating wrapping door handles and chrome molding above windows,

I am new to the family but here is my new (used) baby, 2009 Infiniti M45X. Found this for a great price and it is loaded. 1300 spent already for tires, tps, alignment, and whatever else the mechanic found. I have a slightly bent rim and will get it taken care of in a week or so. Rides like a champ and a total sleeper. I am pretty much a purist when it comes to cars and really will only dabble in the sound system audio/bluetooth, professionally detailed, possible driver seat leather replacement with an OEM from ebay or something.

oh yeah, I had to order:
1. Floor Mats (OEM Wheat) with the logos
2. Another smart key fob serialized specifically for the model
3. The first aid kit for the trunk.....oh yeah I did say I was a purist :)
