Hi guys!
New to the M45 line.
Been on NICO for MANY years.
Bought my first NISSAN back in 1991, it was a 1990 Maxima, then I bougth a 1992 Maxima SE (5 speed), then a new 1995 Maxima SE, a new 1995 XEV6 extended cab pickup, and a 19955 Altima SE.
I was looking at a 2000 Maxima, but they were so Fugly, I moved over to Infiniti. I ordered a new 2000 I30t Sport (First Infiniti) for the wife, and bought me a 1994 Q45. After that, I picked up another 1994 Q45t (with HICAS).
I have owned a few other Q45's but just bought and sold them, never driving any of them.
Christmas Eve, I picked up a 2004 M45 with 52K on the odometer. She has been babied since birth, and I intend to continue the pampering. She has the technology pacakge with Navigation, intelligent cruise control, and voice commands. A spoiler has been added and 20" chrome wheels. She will be my daily driver.
My other cars are as follows:
1962 GMC truck (hot rod black with realistic flames). Thsi is "Gracie". She is my tow vehicle. All original with the big block V6 (yes I said V6) and 55K miles on her.
1971 Corvette convertible - Milie Miglia Red. This is "Roxanne". She is my future restoration project. Al original, 60K miles. 4 speed with the 300 HP 350 V8. She drives very well.
1972 Corvette coupe - Rally Red with black stripe. This is "Michele", my Hot Rod drag car. GM High Performance ZZ454 with Tremec TKO600 5-speed, Hooker ceramic coated headers and side pipes, L88 hood. I taker her on the Hot Rod Power Tour each year, and to the drag strip as often as I can.
1973 Corvette coupe - Torch Red. This is "Raquel", my Pretty car" She is a stock 350 (190 HP) with an automatic transmission. Leather interior, power eveything - highly optioned car. She stays in the garage under a flannel cover until the car show circuit.
1982 Corvette coupe - Black. This is "Rocky". He was my first Vette. He came off the assembly line 2 days before my 16th birthday. I bought him as a basket case, and he reminded me of Rocky Balboa. He has a stock 200 HP fuel injected motor hopped up to 260 HP, with the 700R4 overdrive transmission that has been beefed up to handle all that the motor can put out. This is my daily driver in the summer time. He is waiting on paint to be fully restored, and beautiful. The interior, suspension, engine, and drive train have been completely restored.
1994 Q45t - Black. This is "Lola", you can read about her in my signature below.
2000 I30t - Black. This is "Ice T", and you can read about here in my signature below.
2000 Corvette convertible - black. This is "Taz". Taz is a BLAST to drive. 400 HP, automatic transmission, 12.93 at 112 in the quarter mile, he pulls 1.0G in the corners, and has all the advantages of top-down cruising.
This is "Lana". She is a pearl white 2004 M45. Here is her picture with the 20" chrome wheels on her. Right now, she is sporting the factory polished 18's.
