the chrome

so im doing some painting on my rims this weekend and doing a all out wash and wax all over the car inside in/out and i was wondering... if the chrome on the side where the windows are come off without tearing it up??? kuz i would really like to paint thos black along with the back one... i already know how to get the back chrome part off i was just wondering about the side ones too... if anybody knows how to get it off with out bending the crap out of it...
