The 2JZ swap continues....picked up a clean Z32 front crossmember to cut and mock up. Also ordering the Freed Engineering mounts, and Collins adapter for the Z32 5spd.

That is the one mod that every Z needs. Those clear tails make such a difference in appearance.

Would you mind telling us the cost, excluding your car, of what you got into this? I just did a compression and leak down test on my '95 twin turbo and results aren't that good. I get 120 at the highest, and as low as 90ish, for compression, and my leak down ranges from 24% to 35%...so it's obvious the VG needs a rebuild. The car is driveable and passed smog, but I can tell it's a worn motor. I am debating whether to pull the VG30DETT out and rebuild it, or do either a 2JZ or LS swap. After reading so many people's comments about how the VG is a pain in the butt to work on, which I know from experience, I hit a fork in the road. And I know my car will be down for a couple years, because I'm gonna save up and buy everything all at once. I'm trying to gauge how much I need to spend....Thanks.
