Guys it is finally here!

As we have all watched bullrun, gumball rally etc.. and all wished we could do it but they only cater to the rich and the elite. We think that the greatest car event should be done by car enthusiast not just the rich and powerful!

Texas Tuner Rally is just that, a Rally for the enthusiast. Rules are simple run what you got this is as much about smarts as it is about speed. The fastest is not always the quickest. 5 checkpoints in any order first to complete them all is the winner!

Top 5 spots get paid over $75,000 in cash and prizes winner gets $10,000 in cash plus a ton of free stuff from top manufacturers in the scene.

Some FAQ answers.

Turbochargers.com employees can not compete. Although the owners are the only ones who know the check points.

No minimum cars needed we have almost 100kin this event with insurance, computers etc.. the less car the more we lose the easier it is for you to win.

as of last night there are already 30 cars registered

checkpoints will not be given until you are pulling out the day of. We want this to be as much as about strategy as about speed. The driver and passenger are equal partners

The night cap is at kilburns tavern. Open bar and full catered w/ 3 entree options, sides and appetizer for all. driver and passenger will need to register a guest each day of event. under 21 allowed just no drinking. The tavern will serve as the finish line we are working on pulling permits to close the street so can come flying into the finish.

5 checkpoints will take you roughly 500 miles. should be 8-12 hours of driving,racing navigating around texas.

This is the first year of the event, we plan on doing two a year from here on out.

we anticipate over 200 cars to compete in this event. We already have some out of state entries shipping cars in. this will undoubtedly be the car event of the summer. We will also be signing people up at night sessions this weekend as well as the HI meet next weekend.

It won't be on TV as far as I'm aware of just the website. If it gets big enough i'm sure it will be looked in to. If we do managed to get it picked up for TV I will be sure to post it up.

I heard about this a little while back and wanted to enter, but i can't handle getting another ticket for about 8 more months. I'm curious to see the vehicle line up entered so far and with a thousand dollar entry fee most of the idiots will stay away.

Theres DEF going to be speeding involved.. Its like autocross, its suspension driven, but during those short straightaways is where the bigger HP cars pull away.... I wouldnt think that a NA Altima would have a chance in this race. A turbo and a warrant disregard for tickets... then we may have a winner~!

I have actually had a change of heart and am considering registering should a sponsor come through. After speaking with my sales rep from a certain over the top of the line UHP tire brand I think i might have this thing paid for along with a nice new set of UHP tires and of course some lovely decals. I'll keep yall posted.

trust me, if you run the speed limit all day regardless of route taken you will not win. your going against cars running 100+ that have 200mph top speeds.

More then likely not I will be helping Kenny with the event but I doubt I will enter. And trust me folks this one isnt about speed THAT much going 200mph doesn't mean a thing if you go the wrong way first. It will be a blast though! I'm hoping they will debut the GTM for this event

bro, just have you and a couple buddies sign up and just make a road block and when you come to a checkpoint, your buddies will let you take off and they will keep blocking, hell i will be one of those buddies lol
