I purchased some 550cc injectors but here's the thing. My engine needs low impendance injectors so I used an ohm resistor to test it out. I got a low reading so that checked out. Here's the problem I run into now. I dont have the engine harness hooked up to the injectors, as well as a battery. I know that there's always a chance of products being DOA so is there anyway I can test to see if these injectors are working??

Thanks.

If you've got contenuity, then that is a start. I supposed you could put a straight 12v to them and see if the click, but I'd use some sort of fusing, just in case. Do you have reason to belive that they aren't any good?

I work in the parts department for a local suzuki dealership and all the cars ive seen use fuel injector restrictors. I would imagine that if I put 12v straight to the fuel injectors I'd blow it. I didnt want to test it out considering new injectors arent cheap.

The reason why I figure they might be gone is because I bought them bargained down to $120 for all 4.

You can get them for $210 new so $120 for used isn't too far off.

If you look around online, I'm sure you could find someplace that could do everything you wanted done to them. Someone on the boards here had it done and was very impressed with the results.

And FYI: I bought a set of 4 RX-7 injectors for $10 and I sold them for $150. Injectors cost whatever you pay for them.

found the part number on them and searched it up on the net. They are Denso injectors made for an rx-7. I found a problem with them as well. The end caps on the injectors are cracked. Here's a pic.

Kind of OT, but is the CA factory injector JECS # A46-00?

If they are off an RX-7, they are high impedance, you have to remove your resistor pack and bypass it.

I ran the part number through the denso website and manually checked them. They are low impendance injectors. Also, I think I found a local place that can replace the end caps

Don't you guys have multimeters????? It's essential to testing most sensors!
