Car is fully warmed up and such, but when I accelerate sometimes the temp gauge goes down.I think it has something to do with the coolant going by too fast or something and it cant get a reading.. but i still dont get it.I have stock KA rad, 82degree thermostat.Any reason for this?

More speed, more airflow over the radiator, more cooling.

Having said that the stock temp sender/gauge is basicaly a 3 stage switch. 1. Cold2. Warm3. Warped head

Don't trust the stock gauge.

Im taking a shot in the dark here.. make sure you coolant system is full. Logic: If went you gas it, the fluid could be clearing the sensor and it looses its reading. The air would be a lot cooler than the water because it doesnt pull as much head from teh block.

it only does it when rpms go up.if im moving 80k and i put it into neutral it will go back upto 1/2 temperature.it will only go up when i go above say 3500.

ill check for air in the cooling system.
