temp displays in C on startup and car won't go into other modes

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Not on every startup, but every so often, the temp displays in C, and the drive mode can't be changed from Standard.. If I move the temp up or down, then the temp displays in F.. If I stop and start the car a few times, everything is fine, temp displays in F (as it's set in the language and units section), the drive mode can be changed to any of the modes, etc.

It seems like something (a profile or software) doesn't load correctly.. Maybe something with the BCM? I have no idea, and it doesn't affect the way the car drives, it's just a nuisance..

Any help will be welcomed..

Check the battery in your I-key fob. The Q's all store a user profile associated with each key. Scrambled fob signals from a weak battery can cause some weird come-and-go behaviors, especially right after startup.

I'll give it a shot, it seems plausible..

I've not had issue with my Q60 but my '14 Q50 will rarely show reverse lines in the monitor when backing up. It's turned on and if I turn it off and back on again it works but the next time it probably won't work. Glitch in the matrix that I simply live with, yours may be the same (have to live with it).

For example, this morning on cold start, (after replacing the battery in the key fob), there were no issues whatsoever..

I'm not sure if it's coincidence, or if the problem is fixed.. I'll keep an eye out in the next few days..
