Hey guys, here's a brief background:

I was the donor vehicle for the tein coilovers for the altima coupes back last year.

After pretty much 1 whole year, the R&D department has contacted me today, and scheduled me in to drop my car off Oct 5- Oct 9.

Reason is the prototype coilovers are scheduled to come in next week, and they want to test fit and run some tests, and when i get my car back on the 9th the coilovers will stay on the car.

These are their SS coilovers, so its finally happening Tein coilovers are almost complete.

I know it's to soon to tell, but which do you and the rest of the guys on here think about the quality and ride from the Teins to the other Coupe coilover out already? Which will be better ride comfort and the rest of the good stuff?

I had Tein Basic on my previous car (97 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T). I think quality is good but the ride is not as stiff as the BC Racing I have on here but with the adjustable dampers it should be the same or even better.

tein ss will have the same spring rates as BC racing but with 16 adjustable instead of 32. price will be 1200$

Oh cool, I still prefer the BCR for the price and quality it is not a bad set. I would go with Tein but 1200 is a bit too much and from reading on BCR vs. Tein more people seem to be happy with the BCR over Tein for price and ride quality.

Dropped the coupe off this morning at Tein like they asked. I'll be receiving the car back by this friday around 5-6pm. If it aint too dark, i'll snap some quick pics and give a personal review on these.

Maybe they were a fail, and instead of letting him go so he could inform the forum of the terrible news he was kidnapped and now bound and gagged in a Tein Usa closet somewhere

My bad guys. been a little busy. Well I got the car back on the promised date. Dont know if you guys have seen the sedan thread, but for jungleboogie and me, since we were the prototypes, the rear dampeners arent side mounted. However, the production models will be side mounted. They are 16 way adjustable and teh ride and handling has improved.

I talked with them if they were gonna have a group buy available, but sadly they said they dont do "group buys." the coilovers will be released early next year.
