Love the build threads, but I'm just too lazy to do one! LoL

Always wondered about your car, after the initial introdction and then with Team Mussalane there was never a "in between" process.

Keep us updated.

Subscribing. U been on here for a long time teddy lol. IIRC you helped me finalize my tire size for the stretch on my xxr's. Glad you're enjoying the 240. Sweet thread by the way, its about time for a recap of this car!

So I crashed. I actually took a nice chunk out of that curb. I should go back someday and take a picture.

I think I have a picture of the first object I ever hit while drifting. Let me see if I can find it... Ah here we go.

The story behind this one is stupid. I had never drifted before, and I clutch kicked into this intersection of an industrial-esque area on my way home from work... The car went the right way, then it shifted the opposite direction and sent me head-on into the curb, nailing that plastic thing you see there. My car was halfway on this lawn and halfway on the street, teeter-tottering. I managed to back off and sped away as a car was coming. I was anticipating the oil light to come on, but it never did. My oil pan was actually untouched. Nice.

Anyway. They fixed that thing within a few days. Haha.

DAMMIT Photobucket is doing site maintenance. WTF they just did it like 10 mins ago. Oh well. I'll just post this for now.

Well since photobucket is no cooperating with me right now, I will take the time to answer some questions instead of continuing my story.
AZ89two4Tsx wrote:Do one on your hatch too.

How's that going?
The hatch is still stock, for the most part. I had that really mint Nardi in there, but I moved it to the coupe because it looks better in there, so it's now rocking the white wheel (which I hate) and just a Nismo knob.

Parts list so far for it is still small, since I'm trying to dump money in the coupe over the hatch:

Q45 brakes, S14 seatbelts, Chuki sideskirts, digital climate control. Looking for a new wheel atm.
white_ashes wrote:also did you ever find out what happened to your 510?
I know who stole that car. I'm 99% sure of that. But the case is closed and I was compensated by my insurance provider for it, so I honestly don't care. My friend saw it on the freeway a few months ago and called me. I really could care less about hunting it down, but I still have dreams about it turning up somewhere and being back in my possession. I only had it for a few months, but that car impacted my life a lot.

He came into my restaurant for breakfast the other day. Very funny.
sloweighty wrote:so how much psi are your tires when you drift.........
Depends on the conditions/track. At All Star Bash when I was drifting at Streets of Willow, I had my tires at 75psi with a stock SR. But at Balcony I can easily run them at 35psi.

Remember. The lower the tire pressure, the more tire will be touching the ground, which in turn means more grip. The higher the tire pressure, less contact patch to the ground, which will make for less traction.

For posting a picture of gay p0rn.
Ethien161 wrote:Can you tell me how those Powered by max RUCAS and Toe rods have treated you? have you broken em yet? How do you like them so far?
I haven't gotten to that part yet. But yes they are awesome and have not broken or shown any signs of damage yet. Only annoying thing about them is they are made of aluminum.
