I think I'm going to make a thread called "I drive my street car on the track." Its a lot of fun wondering if you are going to make it home from the track or not.

I remember reading this stuff when it happened. It's cool to look in retrospect. Lots of things that today you think of as dumb, but it's all a learning process. Keep it up man.

It wasn't a bad idea. I needed 17s and my friend was selling them for cheap. So why not?

There is actually a reason as to why I named this thread the way I did. But the explanation will come later on, when the thread starts reaching present times.

but why did you NEED 17's? for bumper clearance? well i guess if it was a deal and for bumper clearance it made sense but personally i wouldn't buy wheels i didn't like just so i could run a different front bumper. but either way the cars still hot, keep the updates comin!

I don't hate the wheels. I just don't necessarily like them. I bought 6 of them from my friend, and I needed 17s because spinning 16s on 195s felt like driving on ice. It was also at this time that I picked up the sponsorship from D-MAX, so I would need bigger wheels to go with the new kit.

I don't really like my z32 wheels since they look like they are straight out of the 80's but at the time 300zx TT wheels were a hell of an upgrade from base model 15" steelies

The build is fantastic. This car is my current daily driver as of today, since I ran my hatch into a curb/pole. HAHA! What a noob.

Haha yeah I know what you mean. It won't stop me from doing again, but maybe next time I will take it a little easier on the gas pedal after I hit the apex. That's what made me spin out.

Would have been really cool if I pulled it off because it was a gangster early initiation too. Haha!

Yes sir, he is.

Cody was only using DMAX fronts, but some knockoff fronts. Now He has DMAX too.

Are you using a Dmax hood? If so, how is the fitment? I'm debating between Origin FRP, or Dmax FRP.

I'm leaning towards Origin because I think it looks slightly less goofy, but fitment takes precedence.
