The first change was the wheels where painted gunmetalBefore

Nice work on the paint job. Any plans on some tires/rims?What was all the foam on rear towers? Some weird speaker experiment that went horribly wrong?

No argument that pretty much anything is better than 20 year old worn out NA springs. However...http://www.az-zbum.com/information.springs.shtmlThe Z3Rs have a spring rate of 300/325, I have the Type 1s in my car. How do they handle in comparison to the NA springs, turbo springs, and chopped turbo springs I had before? No f***ing idea, threw em in and overnight the car spun a bearing. Z31s don't need to be running in order to spin a bearing BTW.

Eibachs are far from crappy springs. But they are not great performance springs if the car only sees track use.

Seriously? Did you not bother to read the information in the link provided? Did you not read that they have one of the softest spring rates of all aftermarket springs?

Soft = bad.

B&G = CRAP.

Seriously. People post links so that you will READ THEM. If you aren't going to read the links provided, you should just not bother posting.

If you find a shop that can wind their own coils, get your own with 400lb rates! If not, ST or Z3Rs as both of them have good rates. I personally prefer the Z3Rs for their higher rate, but the STs are no slouch and are a lot cheaper so they would be a good option.

You could always go with turbo or SS springs, but again they would be used so worn, but they are worlds better than the NA springs.

I think its funny you went through all the trouble to paint the car, but did not fix the little ding on the driver side fender just behind the bumper cover. I was going through the pics hoping I would see that fixed up. It was like a thorn in my side. Then i got to the end and saw you just painted over it... DOH!

z31parts is not over priced at all. Ebay is extremely UNDER priced. Jason does not make a lot of money on the parts he sells. He mainly does it to support the z31 community and to make a LITTLE cash on the side.
