But his is better than yours...

BTW, drift cars don't look like crap by necessity. They will look like crap if you are learning how to drift and get friendly with a cone or a wall or whatever. Or f*** up. Unless there was a rust issue, that paint money was better spent on suspension or engine parts. $100 offsets the cost of the Z3Rs, or pays for most of the poly bushing kit.

If you post your project for public viewing, be prepared to hear some things you don't like, if you disagree, take them with a grain of salt

Satans comment was very matter of fact, your response was very standoffish

My post was to try illustrating that fact to you, I wasn't trying to be facetious calling your paint primer, I didn't read it all and it looked like primer, my bad

Classic Z is my house; all are welcomed, but check the attitude at the door

Okay question

I've heard rumors but I'm not sure

Can you run a SAFC on a Z31 without having to change anything?

I have no idea what the requirements are for a safc but they are very limited, if you want tunability look into nistune, it gives you complete control of fuel and timing, the safc is fuel only and can only make small changes

Yes, you can run one. But it wont work too well because of the way that the Z31 TPS works. The TPS is an open/close unit, so it really isn't too good to use with a SAFC.

So can you, yes. Will it work well, no.

Look into nistune, or if you want to be cheap, a romulator.

If memory serves the auto TPS isn't just a on/off switch so maybe that could be used instead. But that's technically changing something...

Whether or not the auto one would be any better than the manual TPS for this I haven't the slightest, just food for thought.

It was many years ago I was going to try this same option. I saw that one other member had actually gotten it to work. I contacted him and he was very helpful to me since I was respectful to him. He gave me the whole wiring diagram and everything to hook up a SAFCII to a z31, along with what minor things I needed to change to do it.

I would love to share this information with you, but you insulted me and now I wont help you...

Have a nice day.

I'm going to have to say that most people who are smart about these cars (like Satan) don't help idiots who use text speak on a message board. I get a dozen or so e-mails daily from retards like you that just get ignored or trashed because they can't figure out how to use their keyboard.

BTW: SAFCs are crap. Don't waste the money or time on them. If you've modified your car enough to need one, buy a real ECU that you can program. MegaSquirt, SDS, Nistune, etc.
