Your truck reminds me of the bad terminator from the 2nd terminator movie. Keep an eye on that!

Vince the hood and trunk looks awesome It looks great with your color scheme. However, I was thinking of getting that hood and getting it painted the same way you just did but after seeing yours, I don't think it'll look good in code red.

Yeah it was something I wanted to do, but I just didn't have the money at the time.

A dirtier engine bay that's all.

It's a sponsorship from Extreme Dimensions and is made by them as well under Carbon Creations.

I like the hood. Those little stupid vents that people attach on look stupid. If your gunna do it go all out I say. Good job.

Dangeris, IDK how you ever thought those black roof overlays weren't dead sexy... shame on you ... at least you cam around to the dark "roof" side though!

Yeah I don't know what the hell I was thinking but I'm really liking that idea. I know I can get the overlay from Bat but how would I cover the omni-directional antennae?

And what the hell is a CF rook cap? is that a totally different piece of material that is two way tapped to the roof or something?

Its a overlay, which is made out of real carbon fiber. They use 3M industrial double sided tape and sometimes epoxy/glue if needed. The cost is just going to be like most real CF products.

They don't have our application. It is made by Mastergrade though. I have contacted them about half a year ago(May08) about making CF parts and its most likely not going to happen. Unless their is a good amount of interest. Which they have told me to put a 'feeler' thread to gather interest using their examples and estimated price. Though I felt it wasn't going to get enough interest plus the amount you would need to pay for it. It doesn't seem like people would want to shell out that much money as I have seen in other threads.

Well CF is crazy money anyways so that's to be expected. I personally love the look of your hood on your car but like I said I don't think it'll look good on mine. However, if it was solid CF hood like OEM that's different. I know they have that vinyl that looks like real CF but wonder on how it will hold to the North East elements

Come on Dangeris, it's either CF or none at all! CF imitation vinyl will look horrible over the hood. I wouldn't mind having CF hood with no vents too, but indeed it is crazy money. On my brother's maxima he has a prototyped 100% CF hood, no fiberglass skeleton and that thing is SUPER light!
