I have a 2001 Qx4 and i was wondering if you could put the taillights from a 99 qx4 onto the truck either by just switching them out or if there would need to be some fabrication?

Also would the bulbs be able to fit into the jacks of the older taillights. In case they changed there jacks as the years went on?NISTECH you seem to be the smartest one here, please help me out.
