Hey Guys,

I'm a ole time street rodder from way back in the earlier '50's, so swappin' engines was like brushin' your teeth. I'm sure that engine swaps are now like open heart surgery , so I'm kinda nervous about tackling such a task. But now that my wife's Max engine has gone south, I would like to get a "heads up" on any differences in the engine that would give me a serious migraine headache. Anything like wiring. computer compatibility exhaust, sensors.....etc.
Sure would appreciate any advice you may like to give me. (like "forget it Gramps")

Thanx,
gramparich

To my knowledge, those are absolutely identical motors, so everything should match up exactly the same. You should have no compatibility issues, but you will of course want to be careful with the wiring and sensors when swapping the engine.
