I completed my swap but have a few questions on the cluster and the pressure plate for a 6 speed...I used the wiring from an 04 automatic.. i have the ECU from an automatic The cluster is from an 05 automatc.. but I have a 6 speed manual in the car.. When i use my 02 cluster everything works fine... but when i attempt to wire in the 05 cluster i get errors and the car goes into limp mode..I need help interpeting the FSM.. I have no clue except the 2 can wires.. or is the fact that the cluster automatic a problem.... Ok I purchased a clutch kit from ebay and the pressure plate seems to be the exact same as the one from my 5 speed and causes the gear box to hit it,, are they suppose to be the same .. If anyone can interpet the Fsm or can tell me how to wire the cluster I will be appreciative.... you can name a small fee i will pay if you have paypal ..

You should have grabbed the ECU from the 6spd...plus all of the wiring harness that is connected to the 05 3.5 engine and dash. You will also need the 6spd m/t gauge cluster.

The ECU is looking for everything that was swatted out, 4a/t transmission, 02 gauge cluster, and the 2.5 motor. There is no bypassing this, the 02 and 05 not to mention 6spd and 4 auto transmission have different sensors that connect to the ECU. You may need the BCM also, but that should be included with the dash wiring harness.
