well, i was wondering which of my cars would make a better car for using in autocrosses. i have a 90 240sx, and a 85 300zx na. the Z is auto, so i guess that wouldn't be any good for autoX. just wondering what suspension setups you guys run in your cars. i'm thinking about sprint 1.80" drop springs, but i'm unsure of which shocks to get. here is a picture of my car. i was also wondering if those wheels are pretty rare, i've never seen them on other 240's around here. for pictures of the Z, go here: http://www.cardomain.com/id/moderaz31

how do you get your suspension like that in JGTC, leMans, firmula, etc. what im saying is, the coilovers will be horizantal instead of vertical?.

SilviaLuvr - what are you saying???

bigdave240 - Well it comes down to what you want to spendThere is also just Spring shock/strut combo (KYB AGX, are what i like)

Then you could take a little step up in price and get Ground Control springs/coilovers (works with KYB AGX shocks), that way you can drop your car for AutoX, and bring it back up when your done.

Next you have your full blown coilovers, and there are lots to chose from, ranging from 800 to over 2000. Witch I think are over kill for the most part. (Although would get if I had the money, just think it could be spent better else were)

I will be getting Ground Controls, and get all the parts that help my change my geometry, camber plates, upper adjustable control arms, adjustable swap bars, strut brace front and back. And just getting it all tuned in to your liking. Also replacing all bushing with new polyurethane ones is a good idea.
