ok i finally saw super 2ners this morning.

best way to describe it. SCC TV.

todays show had lots of great rally video. even a video of dave coleman nearly rolling his v spec sentra rally car (it was up on 2 weels:D) and a lancer evo driving off of a 20ft embankment sideways.

what i dont like about it. the hosts! the 2 hosts are idiots who basicly talk in buzzwords. also didn't care for the import tuner segment as it was just an interview with one of their models (nothing on the supra she was laying on).

i didn't catch all of it and will probably tape it tomrrow so i can see all of it. didn't see any segments from super street or turbo.

what was even stranger on horspower TV (you know that show where they hop up musclecars) they swapped a B18C into a civic.

horsepower tv is one of the best shows on tv.

those tuner shows are gay, i mean, YA, it IS cool that they are representing the scene, but the way they do it seems like they are trying to talk to total idiots and not ppl who actually are there...which is probly true since ford, dodge and APC fund part of those shows.... someday, a real show will come along where ull see a single turbo conversion on a TT supra and a RB dropped into a 240....someday.......**dreamin**

I saw that too. the two morons on Super 2ner need to be shot. they know jack s*** about the cars other than B16 and SR and NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS. and that honda civic, thats one of the guys son's car. looks really gay and cheap. and he put nitrous on that B18 motor. i laugh at that stuff.

I think Super 2nr TV is pretty good the hosts are a little anoying but I think the show is waaaay better than High Rev Tuners. They show other cars then hondus and the ocasional eclipse like high rev.

they all need to be taken off the air. the import world was an underground society that was then made public and portraied in a god awful movie. these shows are just spawns off of that dumb movie. they know nothing because they don't do any research. they just take it for what it is, engine, nitrous, and bodykits. they really don't know the bread and butter about our hobbies!

yeah i watch all the car shows on TNN (im watching trucks right now) and super 2nr is ok except for the two (twin?) host.

i thought it was cool that on horse power TV, two hard core american muscle (chevy and ford) guys built up a moderen import. i can understand why they wnet with a civic. What else are you gonna buy with an 8500 budget, including car purches.

good i love cars

Every TV show they have made for imports has sucked....big time. The Horsepower TV show is cool, they actually do useful installs and show new products that are actually worth a damn, We should all get together and make a desent import TV show. Now who around here has the long lost uncle in the TV business....:pface

We don't get the speed channel here for some reason, but I watched that show a few times when I visited my friend in connecticut, and yeah, the hosts were a bunch of morons. They could have like a 10-sec supra, and then they would just ignore it, go onto a civic and say "check out these awesome altezzas!". worthless.

Yes and with the second FAF added to the new tv shows there is no hope. The last one caused an explosion of morons in every town within a 100 mile radius of me. **** for that matter the whole country. I dread the release of the second one, hopefully i can find a road course in PA and seek refuge there!!!!!

I agree but I think 2f2f will help me sell my 240 at a higher price to some 16 yr old douchebag.

I don't mind the show too much. I watch TV sunday mornings and its a nice break in between My Classic Car, Trucks, and Car And Driver TV. (Yeah, I know, my Sundays are exciting). I just started watching it again and I can't stand those two idiot hosts, I thought they had that hot chick hosting it at one time?

I too believe that the movie will increase the value of the 240 but I love mine way to much to sell it to some punk *** who will destroy it or put useless **** all over it.

super 2ners is on saturday mornings at 12:30pm eastern and sunday mornings at noon eastern.

its on TNN.

i miss the old co-host from HP TV. the two of em definately had some cool humor on the air.

what would help super 2ners is to get the guys from SCC to host it. of course the ratings would probably drop (since ricers wouldn't watch). what ive noticed is that ricers typically dont read SCC. they usually read super street and import tuner which are how do i say lifestyle mags not car mags. i honestly have never seen a real tech article in either of em and their product reviews are usually of body kits or video games.

SCC and turbo are tuned more to the enthusist with real tech articles (especially turbo which is mostly tech articles), their product reviews are usually on real performance parts, and their feature cars are better.

I mostly agree with you, turbo and SCC are where its at for anything technical, but super street does in my opinion have the sweetest feature cars. A few crappy ones slip in every now and then, but most of them are amazing. But the reader's rides in super street do a pretty good job of showing what the readers care about. Last months readers ride "ride of the month" was some ricey eclipse, even though one of the other readers rides was a very hot FD, with a bunch of bolt-ons, and some volk GT-C's, I just don't understand how that eclipse is considered better than the Rx-7. Oh well, at least the magazine's funny sometimes.

im guessing the ride of the month is randomly picked.

readers rides sections are basicly a random pick of what readers send in that hasn't already run. i know that some of those rides may have been sitting in the mags collection for months if not years before getting picked.

SCCs "on the street" section is now one page and usually only 3-4 cars and ive seen a few ricers in it (like it said its random).

i get the feeling that the editors probably dont even see the rides section until right before publication (articles and ad placement are higher priorities).

yes ill admit super street has some nice feature cars.

Heck even import tuner gets some nice cars on its pages but the article is usually on the model laying across the hood instead of the car shes laying on
