Sunroof

Wanna put a motorized sunroof in my truck. Anyone know of any complications one might run into with doing this sorta thing? Also what would the best donor car be to get a sunroof out that will be small enough for a king cab sized roof?

Only advice I have is measure twice cut once. And to use a really good silicone sealer.

Haha thanks, ill be sure to keep that in mind! Nothin sucks more then screwin up your roof and having it leak! lol

Also get the style that goes over the roof line, like an integra, not the kind that goes inside the roof, like a 240.

I'd imagine that the over the roof style would be easier to rig up. I'd go to a yard and remove the sunroof with a write up you found online so you don't take apart more than you have to and look at what its mounted to. It'd be cool if you could plasma cut out that section and just "graft" it on to the truck

Haha Synack you got that backwards!! lol and thanks Breadbox, iwas actually thinking of using that type of sunroof, not only cuz it might be a bit easier to put in, but itll give the truck that cool look of the old school pop up sunroofs haha. That would be cool but id rather just unmount the darn thing and fit it in there haha
