2011 M37s is great ut i noticed the sunroof has play in it. Passanger front of the roof will move up and down. When it closes if i push up from the inside, it seats fine.

Is there an adjustment im not seeing?

Welcome to the forum.

I haven't heard of this issue before, perhaps the track is bent? Hopefully some of our other members might know more.

I have no experience wit the issue but I do have access to the repair and adjustment info. It will probably (hopefully) make more sense when you are looking at it. I think your adjustment Torx screw(s) may have become loose.

If the clearance and the surface height are out of specification, adjust them according to the procedures shown below.

Image

1. Remove side trims (LH/RH).
2. Loosen glass lid mounting TORX bolts.
3. Adjust the clearance of glass lid and roof panel according to the fitting standard dimension.
4. To prevent glass lid from moving after adjustment, first tighten the TORX bolts of front left, and then tighten the TORX bolts of rear right.
5. Tilt glass lid up and down several times to check that it moves smoothly.

Thank you! I will remove the trim and check it out tonight... I took it to the wash today and there were no leaks.

I havent pushed on the top of the sunroof so it doesn't drop.

I ran it by my friends shop and he identified it instantly. Car had previous hail repair done on it (Who hasn't in the Midwest)

The Sunroof was not tightened after repairs, so I found the Torx screw and tightened it and all is good.

Thank you
