Sun Roof Issue

I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima and for some reason my sun roof just stopped working. But before it did I could get the tilt to work. I took it in to the dealership and was told the motor went out. Once the car was returned to me not even the tilt worked. I have heard/read that the whole thing could be reset by unplugging the battery for some time and using a combination of holding different switches. Would like any/all info anyone can post before I decide to buy a new sunroof motor and having it fixed as this could be costly. Thanx in advance fellas.

I would take it back to where the work was done. If you took it in for a problem and they diagnosed it and "fixed" it yet it still doesn't work... Then they didn't fix it did they?
