20, Drive a 96 SE, have insurance through State Farm, on the old man BUT! he has the worst luck with cars and tends to speed iirc his driving history in the past is something like...
Totaled 3 cars in the past 3 yrs, all during winter- 1 speeding ticket (that i know of) - Volvo, he plowed into someone *failure to use due care*- Sentra, someone plowed into him *stopped at a stop sign on the first day of winter and the other driver being the dumbass she was didn't slow down enough and pretty much took out the front bumper attempting a right turn.- VW, it lit itself on fire- He now drives an 05 Camry *we'll see how long he keeps it for*
I believe the rate also depends on the area where you live, living in the suburbs (low crime rate) helps alot, I'm pretty sure it'd be through the roof if we still lived in Minneapolis.
anyway on to the rate, our insurance agent just put the 240sx onto the VW's policy, full coverage with 500 deductable, I am paying 85 bucks a month, we also have our other 4 cars through the same agent/company.
Whoops, wasn't planning on typing my insurance novel but yeah
