STUMPED!!!!

i have a 84 720 z24 4x4 it idles great runs good in first gear but i have to ease on the gas in second gear then about 2000 or 3000 rpm it stalls or bogs down unless i let off the gas. i put a weber carb on it about a year ago and it has ran fine untill this past month. im sure its something little but im out of ideas. i need some help or some more trouble shooting ideas. thanks

Almost sounds like the accelerator pump... Let me get the 720 experts in here.

a buddy said to check that but im not really sure wut it looks like because the diagram on the weber site looks nothing like the carb i have. could it be a vacuum leak somewhere.

I'd guess vac leak. Check everything vac related with brake parts cleaner to see if you can find anything.

That's your best bet. I just have a hard time thinking that there would be anything wrong with the Weber.

i just looked at the accel. pump and the diaphram looks good it pump fuel when i move it
do u have any pics on how i should route my hoses from the canister to the carb. ive tried alot of different ways but maybe i was totaly goin in the wrong direction.

i bought new fuel filter sh1ts and giggles even tho the one i had on there was new, i guess that was the problem.

If the one you had was new and already clogged, you may have a deteriorating gas tank...
