720 D trans case and transmission 5 spd


The square hold is just about round.I've tried heat, PB blaster...I'm going to get a punch and smack it with a hammer this morning...Any other Ideas...? Charlie

Same thing happened with the rear diff on my Audi. The solution for me ended up being welding a new bolt to the plug and then cranking it out. Hopefully that helps.

That is a great Idea,,,...To day I'm going for broke with a 3/4" breaker bar with an adapter and a cheater....If the plug turns round It's nice to know if another method.....Thanks Charlie

Got everything loose...Took it to a place with a lift and the guy shook his head...He got them all loose but he said the manual calls for thread sealant on the plugs and after taking them loose he said he might use anti seize...Charlie
