hey guys, im looking a buying another thing for my car hopefully the last for this weekend (Already bought 4 things) , and i have my mind set on either the short throw shifter, strut tower brace, or rear sway bar.

Which do you think is worth buying before the others or the most bang for buck and probably which would be more enjoyable?

If you like to drive the 'twisties', the RSB is hard to beat!

he's got a manual, and the BEST UPGRADE has to be the short throw shift kit. the level of feel and benefit of it is way better than anything else we got on the coupe short of having a turbo kit installed lol.

The RSB and STB totally transform a mundane understeering car into a fast, neutral handler. For those who love corners, it's the natural progression. I LOVE corners! The STS may buy you hundredths of a second in shift time but the RSB/STB will buy you tenths in a corner! (Add in Eibachs FTW!) Proper handling rocks!

depends on what you're looking for... more oversteer and less chassis rigidity.

sts, you'll never look back after getting it. but like furg said, if you love to take corners, then rear sway bar is the way to go. for me, it was STS, then RSB, then STB in that order.

LOL. no, really not. my bro's s2000 has even shorter gear ratios than with the STS installed and it's AWESOME! without the STS the car's 6MT is weak sauce. STS = BEST THING EVAR

Just to clarify for anyone who isn't 'mechanical by nature'...

A Short-Throw-Shifter (STS) does not change your gear ratios. It only changes the distance that the shifter moves when changing gears. It enables faster gear changes but does not add to raw performance in any way.

That is why I rank it behind the RSB and STB, both of which increase the car's performance in terms of handling.

The STS is nice, and it will feel nice (its primary benefit), but it will be very hard to quantify any improvement in, say, a quarter-mile time, except by a very good MT driver.

STS is the best mod for a 6 speed, its not gonna make your car faster but it makes it a hell of a lot more fun to drive.

brian didn't reply yet, If I was you, I'd make a thread into the GENERAL CHAT (the NICO one not the altima one) and ask for a custom title there, much more mods there

Trick of the trade, use a claw hammer to pop off the pivot ball...99% facepalmed when we realized that...after d!ck around with flatheads, pliers etc.
