Hey all,

I've been struggling to find the ghost in my electrical system for the last couple days and am looking for some insight. My turn signal lights haven't been working lately and neither have my hazards. I replaced my signal bulbs and the signals worked for a little while but then crapped out again. There also seems to be a weird correlation between my hazards and brake lights. If I turn my hazards on my brake lights quit working but will start again if I cycle the hazards again. My hazards will also only flash on the right side if I signal right but it doesn't respond in any way to the left signal.

Pretty much I'm mystified. Please enlighten me if you can.

If it was a old gm car I would say your turn signal switch is failing. Have you tried a new flasher relay?

Try cleaning grounds... Bad or weak grounds will create all sorts of electrical phenomenon.

Good luck

Do you have trailer light wiring? If so, the problem is almost always somewhere in the wiring there...

If your hazard switch is malfunctioning, it will cause the turn signals to fail to function. Maybe disassemble it carefully and ensure the contacts still look okay inside.

I've seen the turn signals switches burn up in these trucks making for all kinds of lighting nonsense. Hazard and/or T/s switches are worth looking into.
