I was wondering if anyone on here knows how wide of a tire you can run on the stock 06 wheels, just wondering because i think im going to hold off on getting new wheels for now but still really need some tires is it possible to put 245's in the front and 275's in the rear on the stock wheels or are those just too wide?

depends on the wheels, different trim levels got different sized of wheels an enthusiast model cams with a 225 series forn an a 245 rear

a 245 series tire should be on an 8-9" wide wheel and a 275 shouuld be about 9-11" differnt brands and aspect ratios will vary this a bit but it's a ballpark, and the narrower the wheels the more the tire will want to crown causign them to wear in the miiddle

Ha sorry about that evildky, didnt even notice that second one , fixed it though. But ya thats the set up i have at the moment 225 front 245 rear which is what my Z came with so if im right i think the rear wheel is 8.5 inches wide, would that half an inch make that much of a difference in looking or 275 wide tires or do you think they would be too wide? I just figure that if im keeping my stock rims for now but getting new tires i should get about as wide as i can without problems but what do you think about this because i really dont know much on this subject?

lol, oops you did ti again anyhow, why not stick to stock sizes? I mean what you are wanting to so it add 20mm or tread tot he front and 30mm tot he rear, most likely you can get away with both if you really want to but I suspect tire wear will be an issue, especially in the rear
