So ever since I swapped motor into my car the stock temp has not worked so just wondering is there a ground or a plug that I may have missed that powers the stock temp gauge? I hooked up a autometer temp gauge whicih would only work only if I had a green plug that was coming out of the ecu unplugged and when it was plugged in the stock temp gauge would always just sit in the middle even if I was just starting the car up for the day. So pretty much pulled the autometer gauge out cuz it wasnt really doing and now the stock gauge wont even move at all??? So if anyone knows what makes the stock gauge work or what my problem might be let me know asap cuz im guessing my temp as of right now lol.

Yea I changed the sensor with a new one a couple months ago and im pretty sure my plug is fine. It's a 95 motor in a 91 and I dont really remember if I put a temp sensor for a 91 or a 95 in it but if I did put a 95 sensor in it would that maybe be my problem?

If your running a 91' ECU you need to use all you 91' sensors. If your running a 95' ECU you need to use all you 95' sensors.

k but like I said im not 100% sure if it is a 95 sensor in it and not a 91 sensor so that may not even be the problem. So does anyone know what actually powers the temp gauge cuz could I have missed a ground possibly?
