The turbo setup will be ordered in a couple weeks
That engine rebuild kit will be ordered monday because tonight me and my buds are tearing down my parts car's motor so i can get bearing sizes ect..

Clutches are rated by Torque not HP so you should be looking at that number. Stock clutch can handle around 350 ft-lbs IIRC, for sport 700s and if you plan on driving it on the streets you are looking at something such as DXD/Southbend Stg 4 or 5.

hmm see you learn something new everyday i had no clue that they were rated by torque.... So are you saying that the stock clutch will not hold for the mods im doing in my first stage of my build??? If yes then that means i need to work on finding what clutch im going with and work that into my little budget

the stock clutch will not last long on stage 3 mods, which is intake, exhaust, and a chip to 14psi or so, which will put down about 320hp/350tq.

700bb turbos? you will need an upgrade.

Basically there are only 4 or 5 producers of clutches in the world: Valeo, Daikin/Exedy, XDR, etc... Z32 stockers are all Valeo, the Clutchmaster or DXD clutch you get will be a Valeo Clutch with HD components (disk material, hub springs, pressure plate springs) I have no clue why DXD is so much cheaper, I could guess it's because they do all assembly work in house instead of just mix and matching components (order springs, disks, disk material, pressure plate shells, etc. then throw a kit together). When I got my WRX clutch from them it came with a hardened Exedy stg2 disk, organic/non-organic HD disk material, HD springs and a beefy Exedy(i don't know what it is exactly) pressure plate basket.
Read about the differences between all the FX100-FX500 and on: http://www.clutchmasters.com/index.php? ... oducts.tpl , that should give you a bit of an idea about the availability of clutches out there, they are built in the same manner, also check out this site to get the basics all the components of a clutch function: http://www.howstuffworks.com/clutch.htm

Ok thanks man so is there a quality difference between the $3,000 clutch and the DXD or is the expensive one just expensive because they had to out source parts?? Im not trying to short change (take shortcuts in my build) my car in any way. If i have to spend more money to get the right one ill just wait paitently until i have the funds :) but i would definately like to get the cheaper one if its still just as good

stage 6 DXD clutch for $650 Or should i go this route http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart ... 9.12.25.68
the JWT aluminum flywheel for $375
for a total of $1020

I'd personally would do excedy before anything else... if car manufactures trust them enough to build their clutches it's a no brainer for a consumer...

http://thmotorsports.com/exedy_clutch/e ... MC-03-1990

That's just ballerific shyt right there... it'll probably never break, lol.

you should have gotten the specialtyz dp's instead of the imitation alloy toyz ones, i think legion might have the specialtyz tp's and catback for sale if you're interested.

give kyle at ipp a call, he can take care of you for your build.
the thing with buying from coz is, he's got great customer service, but i don't know if he uses real parts or not, from the 300d fiasco.
