Naturally, the BOSE audio in this car is terrible so I ended up gutting most everything. Its not finished, but it already sounds amazing compared to what I started with.
Hertz HSK 163 $560
Subwoofer box $175
Door Adapters $30
Rockford 360.3 $540
2 Rockford Amp Kits $164
UR1 Amp Knob $20
Massive Audio NX5 $285
Alpine PDX-V9 $485
Alpine RUX-KNOB $25
Alpine SWR-T12 $296
CL-69SUB $120
Speaker wire and Battery terminal $38
Total: $2740
Items not finished:
1. I have not mounted the Rockford volume control or individual amp knobs yet.
2. I am currently running the factory front BOSE speakers off of the amps because I don't have the HSK 163 or CL-69SUB installed yet. Hopefully I will get that done in the next couple of weeks. I accomplished this by hooking some of the factory Bose speakers in series where the resistance was too low for the AMP. Here are the measurements I took for each factory BOSE speaker lead at the amp in the trunk:
(Currently Misplaced will update tomorrow)
Here are some tools I purchased for this project.
