I had my stillen spoiler installed by my fail of a dealership because it was supposed to be compensation for the **** they put me through during the purchase.

anyway, it does not feel very sturdy on there, i feel like if i wanted to, i could grab ahold of it and just rip it off.

how secure is the adhesive supposed to make this?

about a week after it was installed i think a friend of mine grabbed it and tried opening/closing my trunk with it (we were at a stoplight when i realized my trunk was open, stupid fab in my pocket haha) so he jumped out and opened/closed the trunk via my new spoiler (ya hes an idiot i didnt even think to mention to him not to do that). Could he have cause the lose feel doing this?

the adhesive is suppose to be very strong. i think all most to the point where it becomes a permanent mod unless you do some major pulling. your friend grabbing it shouldnt have really made it loose. i think it was the install. never count on the dealer to do anything except steal your money!!

I felt the same way with mine. It seemed like it could fall off at any second. But after a couple of days in the sun, it stiffened up. Still feels kinda loose but she's not going any where. I think you'll be alright.

When I got my upper and lower wings from Stillen I took the double sided tape it came with off bought some 3M tape and put it on myself. I have to give a HUGE THANKS to Kyle @ Stillen for helping me install them both. He's the man. Now in the summer here in Cali when it's hotter then HELL I can grab the wings and pull them around and my car moves like crazy. The wings seem to hold on for mear life. That's what I did and it worked like a charm.

So you took off the 3M tape that was on the part and bought 3M tape to put it on?

As long as it's holding.. cool. Tape isn't that expensive. We use 3M's recommendation for automotive accessories, which also allows for removal. Stronger 3M tapes are available, but at the risk of taking paint with their removal.

Ricky, are you ever going to post some updated pics? I am sick of knowing that your car looks way better than your sig, and not being able to see it.

I have been wanting to do a photoshoot, but like Kyle stated I haven't seen my car in like 2 months since it's been at SFR getting work done to it.
