Post

Hello,

I wasn't getting any responses in the Audio section, thus why posting this inside of the Rogue section.

For Christmas I bought my girlfriend the following items for her 2013 Nissan Rogue SV (standard 6 speaker system).

1. Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS
2. ASWC-1 & Axxess AX-NIS32SWC (to retain factory backup camera).
3. Metra 70-7552

My question is regarding the ground wire. Per the Wiring Harness the black wire says "For Subaru Only". However, the pin does connect to a black wire on the original harness. I've connected it up and everything works (minus the ASWC-1 or the AX-NIS32SWC), mainly because I'm still trying to figure out which harness is used as the ASWC came with one as well as the NIS32SWC, and the ASWC-1 only has one port.

My question for you guys is this, can you use the ground wire from the Metra 70-7552 to ground the stereo, or must you go to the chassis? Upon looking it appears there are no bare metal locations reachable behind the dash (all looks plastic).

Thanks in advance (I've tried searching but came up empty about grounding).

In '08-'13 Rogue originally ground is located on the top right screw that holds the radio. You can use that screw for aftermarket radio ground.
