I think something is bent or damaged from your ditch experience, but it doesn't sound as simple as an alignment... pulling one way during acceleration, and the other during braking isn't the normal symptom of an alignment that's out of spec.

There's no good way to know what's going on without getting it up on a lift or jack stands and looking for damaged or loose parts.

Good luck!

The issue is the stock centerlink. When worn, the tires will toe in under power to the front axle. this usually corrects itself when there's no power going to the front. You'll never get rid of this completely with stock steering. A trip to the alignment shop will answer many of your questions. They'll tell you what is worn. Calmini makes a full aftermarket replacement steering kit that helps this immensely. Some smaller outfits can remachine your stock centerlink to eliminate this problem as well by using a spherical bearing and through bolt on the pitman side rather than the tierod end that's on your centerlink now.

This is a notorious problem for Nissan 4x4s.
