starting problem too

I have a Infiniti I - 30 1998 model. Today after not having any starting problems before found my self with a car not turning over. I have lights, radio, all inside bells and whistles work. Just will not turn over. Any suggestions on what it might be????Dad feels it's the starter? If so how complicated is it to replace? I am on a very tight budget. Husband looking for work. But i need the car to get to work. Just can't even look at dealership prices. If any one has any ideas please feel free to send me a email. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Starters are very reliable, check the starter relay. I'm not sure where it is on the I30, probably under the hood somewhere. Is there an electrical junction box with fuses etc?

Does it click when you turn the key? Could just be a weak battery if not the relay.
