Firstly a bit of info on the car its a 1993 z32 N/A with 158k iv only owned the car for a few months bought it running badly and idleing high (1500rpm) and misfiring, found a busted spark plug seal and coil pack boot on cylinder 6. so replaced all seals and that coil pack. did and water hose plenum delete, EGR delete (with valve still in place). also cleaned out the IIACV which solved my original high idle, misfire problem. anyways

it only seems to have trouble starting after sitting over night and has yet to not start at all. but i will say it "struggles" (starter sounds fine clicks,so i guess it struggles to turn over?) to start at first then jumps up to like 2k RPM then goes right back down to 900rpm then of course its fine, no adverse running issues, no RPM hunting, no backfiring, no hesitations while driving. then i can shut it off and when i go to start again it starts right up.

being only a problem i get on first start up of the day, im looking for some guidance on things i should check? ive pulled a few spark plugs and both looked normally worn. and iv started replacing the coil pack connectors. which where just cracked not corroded, iv also replaced a few other connectors in the IIACV area. cleaned up the normal connectors to be replaced later such as the CAS, and TPS connectors. any help is appreciated

are you saying the car has a hard time turning over after sitting like maybe the voltage in your battery is low? or it takes a while to fire like maybe a bad frp let all the fuel pressure bleed off?

takes awhile to fire is there a way to test the fuel pressure regulator or is that just something you have to replace?

You can put a fuel pressure gauge inline, then watch to see if the pressure bleeds off, although it shouldn't be a very expensive part.

ok cool thank you very much appreciated. i was wanting to add a fuel pressure gauge anyways so i guess this is a good time to add one while replacing the FPR. but no the FPR is just under $90. i was more worried about it being the fuel pump itself.
