starter replaced and factory alam not working.

I own a 98 Infiniti I30 and it still runs great.
It recently had a starting issue so I had the starter replaced.
It now starts and runs great, but I have noticed that the remote key and the factory alarm system is not working as it should.
I searched online to find out how to re-program the remote key and none of the methods seems to be working.
It's not really a major issue and I should be able to drive it without those features but I would like to know if it's an easy fix.

I doubt you would have a problem with the key fob unless the ECU was replaced. Have you validated all fuses?

Well, I have thoroughly checked the driver's side for any loose or damaged connector but have not found anything. I will take my car back to the technician who worked on my vehicle tomorrow to have him check all the wiring.
