The turbo shop tat fitted my turbo kit was working on a srt-4 .. it ended up dynoing 390 to the wheels... pretty damn good if you ask me...

yeah. the guy i raced plans on buying some kit that makes a little over 400whp he said. he said the kit only costs like 2500 bucks. does anyone know who makes it?

i duno... but the kit that went on the one i saw included a beefy t3/t4 and alot of fuel extras... very nice indeed.... i have recently aquired a sales rep position for the comapny sooooo.... if you want to know more im me or something...

Perhaps you need to re-read my post. I said a stock hardtop auto will not run 12's...

As I'm sure you are aware, the Z06 does not come with an auto...not stock anyway...

stock srt-4 14.2-13.7 quarter mile stock. You're friend's modded srt-4 probably 13.5-13.2 (hopefully) quarter mile. Good job you beat him! 50th Anniversary Corvette 350 hp = 13.4@107mph (stick). So theorectically you could definantly beat "that" corvette from a roll. Only Z06's run 12's stock. Well 405hp = 12.7@115mph stock. Any other vette is crap.

Please can we drop this... corvette stock is 12 second car, if I produce pics and time slips will you believe me? Or are you just another ignorant import owner?

This is at my friends house, the blue Subaru is mine, the 3 black vettes are my friends, only one is a z06. All were driven to 12 second passes bone stock. The z06 was a 12.2@112? I am not too sure of the mph. The other 2 were 12.7s. Thank you have a nice day.

Look dude , don't ever question my love and knowledge of Corvette's. I am the Corvette Defender. And yes I am a ignorant import owner> I should have bought the Z06. And I do want to see time slips plz. How can a car with 330hp go down the 1/4 in the same time as a car with 405hp. NON Z06 Corvette's cannot bust 12's stock(maybe a 13.3)!! Especially a 330hp non Z06 with an auto trans!! NO WAY it does -14.0's all night. (KA-T killable!!)

You said you're friend's "stock" Z06 hits 12.2@112mph. How can that be , when the 500hp Dodge Viper SRT-10 runs 12.2'[email protected]. I'm sorry but you're friends Corvette IS NOT STOCK!! I do know cuz I have run a brand new Z06 at the track and I hit a 12.8@113mph. And that same car I took up to 165mph in 4th gear(in about 16 seconds). Two more gears to go!! I was Hooked ever since. Non Z06 corvette's (stock)&(AUTO) suck a$$. They are still kinda fast , but should be easily dispatched by a KA-T (congrats 3rdgear!!)

And since you like Vette's so much I'll share with you a car I'd take over a Mclaren F1. 2year/24,000 mile warranty and A/C you can't beat it for the money!!! I need this car!!!

HAHAHAHAHA.... do you think you won the argument, just because you are a ****ty driver, and can not drive a vette to a 12, therefore it is not possible? I will produce time slips, next time i go to the house. All of those cars are 6 speeds, 1 is a z06, the other 2 are FRCs if you know what that is, mr. vette expert. 330hp is a myth, the 2 regular vettes dynoed over 330whp, and the z06 dynoed at about 360-370whp, and considering they only weigh about 3100 lbs. at the track, how is this impossible? I have driven a bone stock 6M firehawk to 12.9 and it weighs a hell of a lot more.

Why buy the ligenfelter package? One of those vettes is about to be a turbo vette, for about 20k. C5R block and everything, with a warranty. It will sit nicely next to his 10 second camaro, and 10 second Cobra. This is what All we do, is race cars, so do not tell me I do not know what I am talking about.

I still dont buy into a 12.2 stock Z06, what kind of tires was that on? If you say slicks or even street et's I'll believe it

Hey D-Unit your all about numbers. The srt-10 may have 500hp and 500tq but it has extreme traction problems. the viper does a 3.9 0-60, but it has a v10 lots of low end but top end its not as fast, and i heard it runs an 11.9. the ls6 enginge in a z06 has lots of top end and low end power. The z06 is slower but not by much. And it is 30K less than a viper.

The best times ive seen for a z06 were a 4.04 0-60 and a 12.2 quarter and the slowest times ive seen were a 4.5 0-60 and a 12.6

If you say you beat a zo6 prove it with video. Unitl then i dont believe you because you dont even have a list of mods for your car, so how can you back your story up

QUIT ****ING BENCH RACING.Read a couple different magazines, they all get different times for the same car. Talk to someone who has raced on different nights or especially at a different track, they get different times.Even two identical cars can run different times back to back right out of the factory.Get over it. Stop bench racing and take it to the track.

Look guys, I don't really care whose vette can beat whatever. If you want to argue about it start a new thread. Cuz this one is about a KA-T beating a modded srt-4 (right on) and also a stock non Z06 vette ( which is very very possible). I've driven a real vette Z06 405hp and it was awesome. My track is at sea level. There is also a silver Z06 here with slicks, headers , k&n and it runs 11.8's but it is not stock!! Don't bother showing time slips cuz you could just post any one to suit your needs.

and yes gellis2586 I'm a spec boy. And I love to be informed! I put the Dodge Viper in there cuz it has almost 100hp more than illspace's friend's "stock'' Z06 , yet on paper it pulls the same 1/4mile time!! If that is true , good for his friend. And if it is not , who cares! KA-T rules!!!!!

Well looky here. I've given you two whole weeks , but still I see nothing. You have shown no proof to back up you're "12.2sec stock corvette" rantings. Just like I thought , all talk. I know they pull 12.7's or 12.8's not 12.2's. I wanna see!! plz show me and shut me down plz man , I need this.

can they even flow 21psi without super huge exhaust? Just becuase they turned the shiny knob to 21psi doesn't mean they actually hit it.
