So I ordered 4 of the DVDs... excited to finally get them.

Funny thing though... that was 3 weeks ago.

I emailed to check on the status of the order, the first email was responded to right away, with "we will review your order tomorrow", I've sent a few emails after that. NONE have been replied to.

Can someone tell me what happened here? I'm sure there's a good explanation for it, just wanna know where my $130 went.

2 items shipped to us very late so we upgraded your shipping and added an extra DVD to help makeup for this delay.

Also, the best way to reach us is by calling our toll free number during business hours.

Awesome, I was just worried I wouldn't get my stuff. Just hearing it was on the way was enough.

The extra stuff is just freakin sweet.

They weren't quite what I expected. All kind of hit or miss.

The shift 180 video was pretty tough to follow, a little underproduced and the sound had a really annoying whine. The information was generally good and not a bad watch.

The auto to manual swap was a lot less then I expected. Yet again underproduced, and though much more detailed then Shift 180. Just as shift 180 its very hard to follow along, even moreso. The thing that seemed most suspect about this video was their information on how to solder aweful. Completely wrong (according to my college electrical teacher), making the rest of the video less comfortable to follow.

The SR build was lacking any real explanation of what was happening, let alone an introduction. However, it was very well produced and informative.

The SR swap dvd was also really good. Its still lacking a bit in the sense of explanation. It switches from wiring to other stuff without any warning and then right back again. It also does nothing in the sense of removal instructions.

All in all, I got what I expected, a bit better idea of what to expect as far as I want to do to my 240. However, I feel lucky I have enough friends that know that have done what I have planned. Because I definitely dont think I'd be able to do it with the vidoes alone.

SR BUILD (By DRIFTING.com)"very well produced and informative"

Thank you, regarding the intro, we always film that last and it was rushed but at least you found the overall DVD informative.

SR SWAP (By DRIFTING.com)"It switches from wiring to other stuff"Yes, the early copy requires scene shuffling for the wiring section, but the information is there and the chapter marks allow you to skip to the correction section.

I've watched most of the videos over again. Second time around, everything is a lot clearer, easier to follow even.

Once I actually get to buying everything I need to get my SR working the way I want (oil and fuel pumps, little things like that) I'll let you know how much everything actually helped.

Very true, the DVD's are much easier to follow after the second time especially if the titles are not edited in.

I'm doing a RB25 swap into my newly acquired 'vert after the SR swap into my hatch. I'm definitely gonna order a copy of the RB25 videos to get me a bit acquainted with that swap.

Now we just need a VQ swap video...

We do not have plans for this swap. What do you have planned for your car?

Well right now .. just a basic RB20 swap into a s13HB for light Track use and light drifting. I'm just afraid to go for a heavier Rb25 swap and mess with the balance to much. I would like to keep it as close to stock as possible. As far as weight difference between the two I'm not really sure I figured common sense would say the RB25 is heavier.

Has anyone seen the Kaaz vid? If so would you recommend it? I'm not exactly a mechanic but I am handy. Would it be wise if I get this vid and buy the part and install it myself? I've installed a lsd before on a 240 but it was a direct swap I did not have to open the housing.

P.S.How about a CA18DET swap vid?

We produced this DVD with KAAZ. At $15 you should not be disappointed. If you are then write a full review and we will give you a refund.

SR20DET swap dvd has the most detailed information from what I've seen so far. I don't see how anyone can go wrong with the swap after watching this dvd.
